I have had a busy stitching week here. Lots of planning and beginnings so, therefore, not so much to actually show! I have a number of cross stitch patterns that are at various stages in the design process.
This is the start I have made on my Spring Fair Isle using the colour palette I wrote about in this post. To be honest, I am struggling with these softer, slightly muted shades but I am happy with the pattern and I had a flash of inspiration about how to finish it off so I shall persevere.
This project is more like it! These colours make me think of a stripy deckchair. When I was in London I managed to get all of the supplies for another design that I have been faffing about with for some time now.
I have made a start on it but I want to keep this one under wraps until I have completed it so I will have to resort slightly abstract pictures for now!
Of course, I have to have regular breaks from all of that cross stitch. There is nothing more soothing French Knots!
Happy weekend!
That last flower looks like a mandala. Beautiful.
