Oh my! What a busy week it has been. We had friends staying for five days so most of my time was taken up looking after them. It was such a pleasure to have them but it did mean that stitching took a bit of a back seat.
As as you can see from my fair isle sampler! I think I barely did seven rows. Life goes like that sometimes. This week it was much more important to be with our friends so I am actually pleased I even managed seven rows. I find that just doing a few stitches when you are busy keeps the momentum going. It is so much better to do that than to put your work away entirely. That usually means that in several months time you discover it in the back of a cupboard!
Before our friends arrived, I almost finished another project I’ve been working on. I am quite excited about this one so I thought it deserved a blog post all of it’s own….
